Position description

The Graduate School of Education (GSE) seeks a qualified temporary non-tenure track, part-time lecturer to teach in the School Psychology Program for the 2016-17 academic year. Screening of applicants begins immediately. An applicant will be selected for one year; the appointment begins in the fall semester.

Teaching Responsibilities: We are seeking an outstanding lecturer who can teach courses in the school’s advanced degree program:
• School Psychology

General Duties: In addition to teaching responsibilities, duties include holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, and preparing course materials.

Basic Qualifications: Doctoral degree or equivalent degree in school psychology, clinical psychology, or counseling psychology, and certification as a school psychologist and/or licensure as a psychologist at time of application.

Additional Qualifications (by start date): The successful candidate will have demonstrated excellence in teaching and practice experience in the subject matter field and with diverse populations.

Salary: This is an academic year appointment and subject to the normal processes of academic review. Salary is commensurate with experience but typically begins at $60,419 and is prorated in accordance to instructional workload calculation.
