Position description

We invite applications for a special full-time Neyman Visiting Assistant Professor position at the University of California at Berkeley, with expected start date of July 1, 2015. The Neyman Visiting Assistant Professor position is for a two-year duration (but can be shorter by mutual agreement) and is not renewable. Annual nine-month salary is $65,000. We will consider strong candidates in any area of theoretical, applied or computational statistics, or probability, with a particular interest in computational and interdisciplinary activities. The minimum qualification required to be considered an applicant for the position is the completion of all degree requirements, except the dissertation by the time of application. Additional qualification is Ph.D. (or equivalent) in Statistics, Mathematics or a related field by the expected start date. Documented experience in teaching Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field at the college level.
