The Department of English at the University of California, Berkeley seeks applications for a full-time, tenured Associate Professor or Full Professor faculty position in the area of Fiction Writing, with the expected start date of July 1, 2018. The department is interested in candidates who will contribute to diversity and equal opportunity in higher education through their teaching, research, and service.
Basic qualifications (required at time of application): B.A. or equivalent degree and teaching experience. Preferred qualifications: a graduate degree, at least two books, and substantial experience teaching creative writing.
