Position description

The Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, invites applications for a non-tenured (tenure-track) or tenured faculty position in Operations and Information Technology Management. We will be filling one position with an expected start date of July 1, 2018.

Application submissions will be accepted through November 3, 2017.
Applicants who plan to attend the INFORMS meeting are strongly encouraged to apply by October 1, 2017.

Assistant Professor Qualifications:
Basic qualifications: Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree or be enrolled in an accredited doctoral program at the time of application. Additional Qualifications: Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a closely-related field or have advanced to Ph.D. candidacy and will complete the doctoral degree or equivalent degree within 6 months of start date. Preferred qualifications: Applicants whose research, teaching, and service has prepared them to contribute to diversity and inclusion in higher education and to the Haas School’s strategic focus on innovation, broadly defined, are encouraged to highlight these points in their application.

Associate/Full Professor Qualifications:

Optional materials may include additional working papers or publications, a statement of teaching, and teaching evaluations. We strongly recommend including a statement of candidate’s contributions to diversity addressing past and/or potential contributions through research, teaching and/or service (this statement will be required of candidates invited to campus interviews).
