Position description

The Department of English at the University of California, Berkeley seeks applications for a tenured Associate Professor or Full Professor faculty position in the area of Creative Writing of Fiction, with the expected start date of July 1, 2016. Basic qualifications (required at time of application): B.A. or equivalent degree and teaching experience. Preferred qualifications: a graduate degree, at least two books, and substantial experience teaching creative writing.
