Position title: Associate Professor or Full Professor
Salary range: Salary commensurate with experience.
Anticipated start: January 1, 2023 or later

Position description

The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering (CBE) at the University of California, Berkeley, seeks applicants for a tenured faculty position, who will serve 50% in CBE and also as a 50% research staff appointee in the Energy Technologies Area at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. The Department consistently ranks among the top research and teaching programs in the world and continues to be at the forefront in developing programs in emerging areas of chemical and biomolecular engineering and energy technologies. Creative and energetic individuals who show extraordinary accomplishment in the area of sustainability in Energy-Water Nexus will be considered.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

PhD or equivalent international degree

Preferred qualifications

Evidence of extraordinary scholarship and academic service and a focus in the area of energy-water nexus.
