DEPARTMENT OF STATISTICS

We invite applications for a non-tenure-track full-time Neyman Visiting Assistant Professor position in the Department of Statistics, at the University of California, Berkeley. The Neyman Visiting Assistant Professor position is a non-renewable two-year position (but can be shorter by mutual agreement). The Neyman Visiting Assistant Professor will be expected to engage in teaching and research and participate in seminars and lectures within the department. The expected start date is July 1, 2019 and the position has an annual salary of $70,000.

Basic Qualifications: advanced degree or enrolled in an advanced degree program Additional Qualifications: PhD (or equivalent international degree)
Preferred Qualifications: PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field

Applicants should document their experience in teaching Statistics, Mathematics or a related field at the college level. We will consider strong candidates in any area of theoretical, applied, or computational statistics, or probability, with a particular interest in computational and interdisciplinary activities.
