DESCRIPTION
The Energy and Resources Group (ERG) at the University of California, Berkeley invites applications for a pool of qualified temporary lecturers to teach courses in the areas of energy and resources from a wide variety of disciplines, should an opening arise. ERG has a long and distinguished history of interdisciplinary research and teaching for a sustainable environment and an equitable society. Screening of applicants is ongoing and will continue as needed. The number of positions varies from semester to semester, depending upon the needs of the department. Appointments are typically part-time and may be renewable based on need, funding, and performance.

General Duties: In addition to teaching responsibilities, general duties include holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials (e.g., syllabus), and maintaining a course website.

Basic Qualifications: The minimum qualifications required to be an applicant for this position is the completion of all Ph.D. or equivalent degree requirements, except the dissertation, at the time of application.

Additional Qualifications: A Ph.D., or equivalent degree, is required by the start date of the job.

Salary: Commensurate with experience.
